Double Salt | Complex Salt |
(1) The nature of bonds in a double salt is conic or electrovalent. It does not consist of covalent or co-ordinate bonds. (2) The physical and chemical properties or double salt are similar to their constitulent compound. | (1) In a complex bond. The bond present between the central metalion and ligand is always co-ordinate. However ionic bond may be present with it. (2) The physical and chemical properties of complex salts are different from their constituents. |
