  2. Example: animal waste, waste from vegetables, cattle dung, sewage, agricultural residues, etc

Non-biodegradable substances:

  1. Waste materials that cannot be broken down into simpler, non-toxic substances by micro-organisms easily are called non-biodegradable substances
  2. Example: plastic, iron, aluminum foil, glass, etc.
