Adrenal gland:

  2. Surface of adrenal gland is known as adrenal cortex and just beneath the adrenal cortex adrenal medulla region is present.

LIver:

  1. The liver is the largest gland (exocrine gland) of the body.
  2. It produces bile, which remains stored within the gall bladder before entering the bile duct.

Thyroid gland:

  1. The thyroid gland is a bilobed endocrine gland which is situated in the upper part of trachea in the neck region.
  2. It secretes thyroxin T4, Triiodothyronine T3 and calcitonin hormones.

Pituitary:

  2. Secretion of the pituitary regulates the secretion of other glands which is why it is known as the master gland.
  3. It secretes many hormones such as - TSH, TSH, GH, GTH, ACTH, PRL, oxitocin etc.

Hence, the odd term is liver (it is an exocrine gland ) and the rest of these are endocrine glands.
