Solution

The correct option is C Humulin: Diabetes insipidus
Humulin is a genetically engineered insulin which is used for treatment of diabetes mellitus. In this condition the sugar level of the blood remains high due to deficiency of insulin or resistance of cells to uptake insulin.

Diabetes insipidus is due to deficiency of antidiuretic hormone, the hormone responsible for reabsorption of water from the kidney into blood.

Erythropoietin is a hormone which stimulates erythropoiesis (RBC production) and prevents anemia.

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is responsible for spermatogenesis and oogenesis in males and females respectively. The recombinant FSH is used for treatment of infertility.

Somatotropin is another name for growth hormone which is used to treat growth related disorders.
