Coat color in rabbits is controlled by a series of multiple alleles. Infact there are four alleles, and each one is expressed with a different phenotype.

Himalayan type coat of rabbits is white except for extremities (nose, ears, feet and tail). The gene for Himalayan coat is represented by Ch allele.
