Given below at two diagrams (one is correct, the other is somewhat incorrect) showing the transport of a hormone from its source gland/cell to the target organ/cell.
Which one has the error? A or B?

Diagram B shows the release of the hormone outside the bloodstream. Hormones are released by the endocrine glands which do not have any duct to carry the hormone to the bloodstream. So, the hormone is directly released into the bloodstream. Also, at the target cell site, diagram B again depicts the release of hormone near the target cell. Hormones are not released in any cavity. These diffuse in the target cell directly through the receptor-mediated response. In this way, Diagram A depicts the correct release, flow, and movement of hormone in the bloodstream.
Hence, diagram B is showing error. So, the correct answer is B.
