The correct order of the terms in a logical sequence (Reflex arc) is Receptor, Sensory neuron, Spinal cord, Motor neuron, Effector.

Receptor:

  1. It detects sensory stimuli and conducts impulse to the spinal cord via the sensory neuron.

Spinal cord:

  1. It is the part of the central nervous system that extends from the base of the brain and controls the reflex below the neck.

Effector:

  1. It is a muscle or a gland which performs the appropriate response to the detected stimuli by the receptors.

Motor neuron:

  1. It has short dendrites and a long axon and conducts motor impulses from the central nervous system to an effector.

Sensory neurons:

  1. It has long dendrites and a short axon and conducts sensory impulses to the central nervous system.
