Solution

Chloroplasts and photosynthesis:

  1. Chloroplasts are the cell organelles in photosynthetic organisms that contain the pigment chlorophyll.
  2. Chlorophyll absorbs sunlight and drives the process of photosynthesis ahead.
  3. Photosynthesis is the process by which photosynthetic organisms prepare their own food from carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight.

Seminiferous tubule:

  1. Seminiferous tubules are located in the testis. Each testis is internally divided into many lobules and each lobule contains many seminiferous tubules.
  2. In the epithelium of these tubules, sertoli cells are found. These cells facilitate the progression of the germ cells to spermatozoa by providing nutrients for mitosis and meiosis in male germ cells.
  3. Spermatogenesis is related to the production of sperms. In this process, germ cells give rise to the spermatozoa which is a haploid (n) structure.

Final answer: , seminiferous tubule and spermatogenesis.
