The correct option is C 14.275kJ
Neutralisation reaction is,
NaOH+HClH2O+NaCl ΔH=57.1KJ
This means that when 1 mole of NaOH reacts with 1 mole of HCl the energy released is = 57.1KJ
Hence, when 0.25 moles of HCl reacts with 0.25 moles of NaOH then the energy released would be given by,
ΔH=0.25×57.1=14.275KJ.
Hence, answer is option C.
