Given that the rectangle has breadth which is thrice its length .The perimeter of the rectangle is 80. Find the length of the rectangle?

Solution

The perimeter of the rectangle whose length and breadth are l and b respectively is 2(l+b)

b = 3l

2(l+3l) = 80.

l =10 m.
