Solution

The correct option is C Renal tubules
The nephrons filter the blood to remove nitrogenous wastes from it. The glomerular capsule encloses the glomerulus filters the blood. The glomerular filtrate that is produced passes from the glomerular capsule into the renal tubules (proximal, Henle's and Distal tubules). Reabsorption occurs in the renal tubules.
The urine from the renal tubules is drained into the collecting duct. From the collecting duct urine passes ino the renal pelvis. Renal pelvis collects urine and from there it flows into the ureters and then into the urinary bladder. The urinary bladder excretes the urine out of the body.
Efferent arteriole is a branch of the renal artery that drains blood away from the glomerulus. It is the connecting vessel between the glomerulus and the peritubular capillaries and vasa recta. Peritubular capillaries are the blood capillaries that surround the PCT and DCT of the cortical nephrons. Vasa recta are the blood capillaries that surround the loop of Henle in the juxtamedullary nephrons.
