Reabsorption of glucose and amino acids

The substances which are useful to our body are reabsorbed from the tubular fluid produced after ultra filtration and further passed into the circulatory system. 99% of the filtrate is reabsorbed back.

The part of nephron that lies between the Bowman's capsule and the loop of Henle is known as the Proximal convoluted tubule (PCT). Reabsorption of substances such as glucose and amino acids occurs in this region.
