By Freundlich Adsorption Isotherm,

k and n are constants that depends on the nature of gas and adsorbent.
Taking log of equation (1) gives,

log (xm)=logk+1nlogP
This is a straight line equation.

Slope =1n
Inclined angle of straight line is 45o
Slope =tan 45o=1
1n=tan 45o=1

Intercept =log k

log k= 0.3

Now, xm=k P1/n=2×(0.2)1=0.4
