In equation y-2x-4=0
if x=0, y=4
if y=0, x=-2
similarly, in equation 2y=6x+12
if x=0, y=6
if y=0, x=-2

from the graph we can clearly see that the lines are intersecting at (-2,0). Hence the solution of the given pair of linear equations in two variables is (-2,0)
