Suppose the total worth of property

= x

share of son = $\frac{1}{3}\times x=\frac{x}{3}$

share of daughter = $\frac{1}{4}\times x=\frac{x}{4}$

Remaining part for wife =$x-\frac{x}{3}-\frac{x}{4}$

$=\frac{12x-4x-3x}{12}$

$18000=\frac{5x}{12}$

$x=\frac{18000\times 12}{5}$

$=3600\times 12$
