Could you please explain me how to multiply fraction with another fraction?

If the 2 numbers are as p/q form
then multiply numerator and denominator seperatly and devide them

eg: ( 5/4)×(6/7)
=(5×6)/(4×7)
=30/28
=15/14
the do the simple division

or if the numbers are in decimal form
simply multiply then with out the decimal point
and finaly count the total number of numbers after the decimal point of two number
then put the decimal pont in the answer by counting the numbers from last of the answer

eg:
5.356×6.7689
number of terms after decimal point is 3+4=7
5356×67689=362542284
count the number from last
so the answer is 36.2542284
