Solution

The correct option is A causing inflammatory response
The white blood cells can be classified into agranulocytes and granulocytes. Based on the staining, the granulocytes are classified as - neutrophils, basophils and eosinophils.

Basophils are the WBCs which appear blue in colour because they take up blue basic stains. Basophils secrete histamines. Histamines are chemicals that cause inflammatory response. Inflammation is the response of the body when there is wound, cuts, burns, etc. Inflammation causes swelling, reddening and pain in that region.

Albumins are proteins which maintain the osmotic balance in blood.

Protein which is involved in clotting of blood is fibrinogen.
