AIDS:
AIDS (Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) is caused by HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus).
It is a communicable disease.
It spreads through sexual contact, sharing of needles, transfusion of infected blood.
The symptoms of AIDS are decreased immunity, loss of weight, decreased blood platelet count, tuberculosis, cough, fever.
Prevention of AIDS:
Use of disposable needles.
Needles should never be shared.
Avoid sexual contact.
