Question

How can domestic waste be used as manure?

Open in App
Solution

Domestic waste can be segregated into biodegradable and non biodegradable.
Biodegradable waste (leaves, rotten food etc) is to be deposited in land fills so that they decompose aerobically and anaerobically into manure. Non biodegradable waste (plastic, glass, metal scraps) cannot be degraded and is sent for recycling.
