How can we conserve water at community level??

1. We must practice rain water harvesting
2. Wastage of water during Holi and other such festivals must be reduced
3. We must also practice water shed management.
4. Fix any water pipe leakages in the community buildings.
The amount of drinking water available to us is reduced further by pollution of open water bodies.
- Owing to our lack of water conservation and environmental changes, drought is now a frequent occurrence.
- Let us think about why we should use water judiciously - the day we run out of water is the day the human race ends.
- A person can survive without food for a month, but will die within a week if he/she does not drink water.
- We must act quickly and save as much water as we can.
- A few useful methods of water conservation are: rain water harvesting, taking shorter showers, preventing water pollution and treating polluted water for consumption.
- Water is precious, let us save it for our future generations.
