Question

how can we convert kj/mol into kj/kg

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

Mole is the unit of "amount of substance".
Kg is the unit of Mass. Although, we do use it as measure of weight (on earth).

1 mol = 6.023 x 1023 number of atoms/ ions/ molecules etc. depending on the nature of substance.
So, there is no direct formula for such a conversion.

Calculate weight (in Kg) by Molecular/ atomic/ ionic weight.
Wt. = MW x no. of moles.

Then calculate KJ/Kg from KJ/mol
