How can we prevent the loss of top soil?

The upper of A-horizon of soil is called top soil. It contains most ofthe litter, humus and roots ofsmall plants embedded in it. Loss of top soil can be prevented by following ways:
(a) By preventing deforestation
(b) By preventing excessive grazing of grasses and small plants by herbivores
(c) By preventing plantation and increasing the vegetational , cover.
