In the chemical reaction if one metal displaces to another compound form a new product called chemical displacement reaction.
Ex. $Z n + 2 H C l ⟶ Z n C l_{2} + H_{2}$
Chemical decomposition:
In the chemical reaction if one reactant decomposes into two or more products called chemical decomposition
Ex. $C a C O_{3} ⟶ C a O + C O_{2}$
