We can suppl nutrients to the soil in many ways:
1)By burying organic waste materials and dead animal bodies since they contain essential nutrients.
2)By testing the soil and manualy adding necessary nutrients purchased from stores.
3)Ploughing the soil kills small unwanted plants which decompose in soil and is used as nutrients.
4)Making sure that excessive plantation does not happen which causes the soil to degrade in quality.

Advantages of preparation of soil:

2)Helps the roots to penetrate easily into the soil.
3)Helps in uprooting the weeds
