  1. Deforestation is an environmental disruption majorly caused due to human influence.
  2. It is the cutting down of trees in the forests due to multiple reasons.

Global warming;

  1. It is the warming up of the atmosphere due to the trapping of heat by the increased level of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane.
  2. Plants play an active role in absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, by using it in photosynthesis.
  3. So when plants are cut down at an alarming rate due to deforestation, it leads to the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
  4. An increased amount of carbon dioxide leads to a significant rise in the temperature of the earth.
