Cough:

  1. Viral infections are the main cause of coughing.
  2. Along with 200 other viruses, the rhinovirus is the most frequent cause of the cough.
  3. The trachea, the primary airway in the throat (larynx), or the airways leading to the lungs are frequently affected by viral infections (bronchi).
  4. These illnesses are also known as tracheitis, laryngitis, and bronchitis. Usually, the predominant symptom is a cough.

Symptoms of the cough:

  1. Sore throat, cough, sneezing, running or stuffy nose, loss of smell or taste, and low-grade fever are some of the signs and symptoms that can vary from person to person.
  2. Discomfort in the chest, difficulty breathing, fatigue or tiredness, body aches, chills, and headaches.
