Solution

Testing vascular disease:

  1. Vascular disease refers to any situation that affects our circulatory system.
  2. There are various tests which help us to detect vascular disease.
  3. Angiography: A dye is injected into the artery to determine a blocked or clogged artery.
  4. Magnetic resonance angiography(MRA): An imaging test that highlights blood vessel blockages.
  5. CT angiography(CTA): It is also an imaging test that shows the blood vessels to observe any narrow space or blockage.
  6. Ankle-brachial index(ABI): The index measures the blood pressure in the ankles. Low blood pressure in the legs suggests blockages.
  7. Ultrasound: Sound waves are used to see blood circulation along the veins.
  8. Blood tests: Blood tests are done to get aware of any increased risk of vascular disease.
