Solution

The correct option is B

Light sensitive cells on retina get activated wherever light falls and generate electrical signals which are read by the brain.

Our retina consists of light-sensitive cells i.e.rods and cones. When light falls on the retina, light-sensitive cells get activated. The light-sensitive cells generate electrical signals which are sent to the brain by optic nerve for further interpretation.
