Pleiotropy means where one gene affects many different characters, in an organism. In case of sicle cell anemia
1) Red blood cell carries sickle shape.
2) Sickle cell alleles in heterozygous condition give protection from malaria.
3)Blocks the blood flow in blood vessels.
Co-Dominance means both types of hemoglobin are formed during heterozygotic condition
HH produces normal hemoglobin wheras in HH^s some normal hemoglobin and some sickle cell hemoglobin is produced.
