How does the wave pattern of a loud note differ from a soft note ? Draw a diagram.

Amplitude is the size of the vibration, and this determines how loud the sound is. A larger amplitude means a louder sound, and a smaller amplitude means a softer sound. Below are the diagram which represents the soft and loud waves respectively. First one is softer wave and the second one is louder wave.
