Solution

[3]
(i) Using Agrobarterium vector, nematode specific genes are introduced into the host plant.
(ii) Both sense and antisense strands of m-RNA are produced.
(iii) Double stranded RNA (ds RNA) is formed.
(iv) dsRNA initiates RNA interference.
(v) It prevents translation of mRNA resulting in silencing of mRNA of parasite or nematode.
(vi) This causes the parasite Meloidogyne incognita to die.
