How human effect the carbon cycle

Human activities such as burning of fossil fuels and deforestation modifies the carbon cycle. These human activities increases the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere which results in a change in the global climate. When deforestation occurs, most of the the plants are either left on the ground for decomposition or burnt. This decreases the size of the land and burning adds carbon to the atmosphere. Therefore it creates an imbalance in the carbon cycle.
