Copper can be separated in the following ways:

  1. The extraction of copper can take place by crushing ore and froth flotation processes to produce concentrated ore.
  2. The produced concentrated ore undergoes a roasting process to form Copper matte.
  3. The copper matte reacts with slag FeSiO3 to form blister copper.
  4. The blister copper undergoes refining and then further electrolysis to form the final pure copper.
