(i) Ethyl alcohol (ii) ethane (iii) ethene

i. From ethyl alcohol:
Ethyl bromide is obtained by treating with phosphorus tribromide. It is a substitution reaction.
3C2H5OH+PBr3C2H5Br+H3PO3

ii. From ethane,
Ethyle bromide is obtained by treating with bromine in presence of AlBr3
C2H6+Br2CH3CH2Br+HBr

iii. From ethene,
Ethyl bromide is obtained by treating with hydrogen bromide. It is an addition reaction.
CH2=CH2+HBrCH3CH2Br+HBr.
