Transpiration is the process by which plants lose water in the form of water vapour, from their leaves through stomata. Both these processes are a part of water cycle. They happen in all seasons, although the rate at which they happen in each season varies. Evaporation rate is affected by humidity. As humidity increases, rate of evaporation decreases.
