  3. Classification is the process of categorizing organisms into various groups based on some easily observable characteristics.
  4. When classification and phylogeny are together considered it is called systematics.
  5. Taxonomy along with evolutionary studies is referred to as systematics.
  6. The study of evolutionary relationships among different organisms helps us to know better about them and thus, their classification becomes easier.
