Skeleton of bird:

  1. Bones of birds are very light in weight, and hindlimbs are present for walking.
  2. Modified breastbones hold muscles of flight.
  3. Vertebral section gets fused in the backbone so that it facilitates rigidity which helps them during flight.
  4. Lack of teeth makes them lighter weighted.
  5. Forelimbs of birds have a bony part that gets modified as wings.
