How many bricks will be required for a wall which is 8 m long, 6 m high and 22.5 cm thick if each brick measures 25cm×11.25cm×6cm ?

Dimention of Wall;
l=8m=800cm
h=6m=600cm
b=22.5cm

volume of the wall =lbh=800×600×22.5
=10800000cm3

Dimention of brick;
l=25cm
b=11.25cm
h=6cm

volume of brick =lbh
=25×11.25×6
=1687.5cm3

therefore number of bricks=volume of wall/volume of 1 brick
=108000001687.5
=6400 bricks

Therefore number of bricks are 6400.
