Height of cuboid ($h$) = 8 cm
No. of cubes that can be cut along the length = $\frac{24}{4}=6$
No. of cubes that can be cut along the breadth = $\frac{12}{4}=3$
No. of cubes that can be cut along the height = $\frac{8}{4}=2$
So, total number of cube can be cut $=6\times 3\times 2=36$
