Question

How many electrons flow through an electric bulb every second of the current that passes through it is 2 ampere

Open in App
Solution

We know the equation
q=n×e ----(1)
q = total charge
n= no: of electrones
e= charge of electrone, 1.6×10^-19

i = q÷t
q=i×t-------(2)
from(1)&(2)
n×e=i×t t=1s
n = i×t/e i=2A
n= 2×1÷[1.6×10^-19] n=1.25×10^19 electrone, which passes throuh the bulb
