Paper:

  1. Paper is a thin sheet material made from cellulose fibres that are derived from wood, rags, and grasses.
  2. Paper is made from bamboo and some the softwood trees such as pine, fir and some hardwood trees such as eucalyptus.
  3. A single tree may produce around 16 reams of paper. To produce one ton of paper, 25 trees are required.
  4. To manufacture one tonne of paper, around 10,000 trees are required.
