How many grams of NaOH should be dissolved to make 100cm^3 of 0.15 molar sodium hydroxide solution?

vol. of solution =100 cm³= 0.1 L

let grams of NaOH = x grams

no. of moles of NaOH = x/40

now, by molarity formula,,

0.15= [x/40] / 0.1

so, x/40 = 0.015

so, x = 0.6 grams
