The correct option is D Five
Double fertilisation is a characteristic feature of the angiosperms. In double fertilisation, after two male gametes are released in the embryo sac by the pollen tube, one male gamete fuses with the egg cell of the ovule to produce the zygote and the other male gamete fuses with the diploid central cell containing two polar nuclei, to produce a triploid endosperm. Thus, total five nuclei are involved in the process of double fertilisation.
