How many photons does the sun emits per second?

Open in App
Solution

Given intensity I=1.4×103W/m2 and wavelength of light λ=5×107m
We know n=intensity×λhc where h= planks constant=6.63×1034 and C=speed of light in air =3×108.
Now putting he above mentioned values in the provided equation we get,
n=1.4×103×5×1076.63×1034×3×108=3.5×1021
