Open in App
Solution

1 mole CuSO4 contains 1 mole of Cu2+ and 1 mole of SO42.

The molar masses of copper and copper sulphate are 63.5 g/mol and 159.6 g/mol respectively.

100 g of copper sulphate will contain 63.5159.6×100=39.76 g of copper.
