Question
How much water should be added to 200 cc of seminormal solution to make it exactly decinormal
Open in App
Solution
Dear Student,
Normality (N1) = 0.5 (seminormal)
Volume(V1) = 200 cc
Normality (N2) = 0.1 (decinormal)
Volume (V2) = ?
(N1)(V1) = (N2) (V2)
0.5 X 200 = 0.1 X (V2)
(V2) = 1000 ml
Volume of water added = 1000 -200 = 800 ml
