How will you connect three resistors of 3 Ω, 4 Ω and 7 Ω respectively so as to obtain a resultant resistance of 3.5 Ω?
3 Ω, and 4 Ω in series and then parallel with 7 Ω.
When 3 Ω and 4 Ω are in series, we get total resistance, Rtotal=3+4=7 Ω
Now Rtotal and 7 Ω has to be connected in parallel.
i.e, 1R=17+17 =3.5 Ω
