How will you differentiate that whether the given gas is ethane or ethene?

One can distinguish ethene from ethane with the test of unsaturation. Bromine solution in carbon tetrachloride is orange in colour. When it is added drop by drop to ethene, the orange colour disappears as it forms a colourless ethylene bromide. When this does not happen, the gas is ethane.
