How would you carry out following conversions?
Acetonitrile to acetamide

To form acetamide, we must need carboxylic acid because acetamide is a derivative of carboxylic acid. Hence, acetonitrile must be hydrolysed to form ethanoic acid which on reaction with ammonia nucleophile to form product.
