Evaporation is used to separate this mixture.
Firstly we have to heat the CuSO4 solution to a saturated solution (about 3/4 of the water has vapourised). Then leave the solution in a beaker to cool it. When the solution is let to cool down, crystallization will occur.

When you cool it, be sure to cover the solution so that no impurities will go inside. After that, filter the crystal out. Then put it on a dry filter paper and let it dry.
